David Myles poetry is gripping and soulful. His grasp of language and the ability to turn a phrase is actually magical. His poems are about man's struggle to find his place in the universe. The struggles we all encounter dealing with love, family and bigger issues like. "What's my purpose.?" He is on fire a great deal of time- the poems spew forth sometimes as beautiful as William Blake and at times as dark as Dante's inferno. The title I appropriate. Mans path is all folly. His poems sometimes have a cadence like Leonard Cohen or Dylan. A wonderful, thoughtful collection. Only reason not five stars-- some poems too sad for me. But then again, since they are so moving-may deserve five stars.Product details
