These books are actually a journey with John and Mary. I don't regard this as a "book" that one picks up and reads. When I start listening to the conversations, my soul takes a journey (astral travel) to a place where John is actually having a real dialog with the people he speaks with (including among others): John the Babptist, Chief Red Cloud, Saint Francis of Assisi, and more from all walks of life. They speak about the guests' lives in heaven, how they now (looking back) see themselves while they lived on earth, and what we, as people on earth, can do to make our lives better. It is one of the best experiences I have ever had, reading a book. One thing John asks often is why people on earth don't read their books. I disagree with that statement. I believe so many of us are "closet" readers. We don't want other people to think we are nuts. They are ignorant now, but they will come around. Soon, we won't be a minority anymore. Love to all!

This book, and the other two by John and Martha McGinnis, are answers to a lifelong unspoken prayer! They lifted deep darkness that had terrorized me since a childhood exposure to the fearful god of fundamentalist religion. For months, depression evaporated and I experienced joy that had eluded me most of my life. Although life challenges have presented themselves since that time, I find that the gifts I have found in these pages continue to keep giving, easing much of my existential suffering related to the fear of death. I have discovered that I can call on spiritual helpers to assist me in responding to the challenges life presents, and can have more fun and joy living my life!
This is a fascinating and well written book. Although very readable in its own right, it makes a perfect companion for the other two books by John and Martha McGinness. It’s the sort of book that’s best not rushed so you can absorb and savour its content.
It deals with psychic readings with a diverse range of famous characters from history and gives very interesting and useful philosophical interpretations of relevance to modern society and everyday living
Although I am not a believer in the underlying concept, I found this book t a valuable and educational read and I’m happy to recommend it to believers and non-believers alike. Everyone can take something from it.
I love channeled books and this one was no exception. I read this book slowly as I like to contemplate the information and see what sits with me and what I need to give further thought to. I found this book very easy to read and loved how personal it was made. This is help available for all aspects of our human lives and this book make it available in easy to understand words and phrases. I know I will be referring to numerous chapters of this book time and time again. This is not the first book to be released by the authors and I am now going to buy their previous books so that I can read more of their work. I found within these pages answers to some of the questions I have been asking myself lately and I know this is synchronicity at work. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for answers and help in daily life. it is packed full of information and every time I re-read a section I find new information. I definitely give it 5 stars and more if it were possible.
